Why kids shouldn't lie

I think kids lie and disobey their parents because they want to have fun or don't want to get in trouble. Some kids don't understand that lying gets you in more trouble. And when you disobey your parents, you don't only get in trouble, you sin.

When you sin, you seperate your love from God even further. I think it's wrong because your sinning and disobeying your parents and God. I think that kids know they're going to get in trouble but they just don't care.

When parents yell and fuss at their kids, their kids don't like them as much. Then some kids don't want to talk or hang out with their parents. And I think kids don't understand that lying gets you in more trouble. It's not worth it because if you tell the truth you can get rewarded and not get in trouble. That's why you shoudn't lie and should tell the truth.
